Siam Park
Siam Park is the culmination of many years of work, and the current director (Cristoph Kiessling, son of Wofgang Kiessling, who owns Loro Parque) is rightly proud of the park itself.
Designed with Thai architecture, it was opened officially by one of the Princesses of Thailand, and has hosted events such as on of the Spanish Heats for the Red Bull Freestyle Football challenge.
It is one of the largest waterparks in Europe, and has a variety of rides that will suit the entire family.
The Dragon
This exhilerating ride holds up to 3 people in the raft, and you zoom to and fro, with a spot of zero gravity before you emerge out of the mouth of a giant dragon. Definitely not one for the faint hearted!
The Tower of Power
As Siam Parks signature ride, this is definitely the most thrilling. You climb to the very top of the tower, take a deep breath, and plunge over the edge, where you slide down a 28 metre vertical ‘free fall’ drop!
The Wave Palace
With the biggest artificial waves in the entire world (up to 3 metres in height), Siam Park has definitely not skimped in this part of the Park. With waves leading onto a white beach, you can either jump right in and let the waves take you away, or simply paddle at the more sedate end of the waves.
Mai Thai River
THis is the biggest lazy river in the world, and allows you to enjoy a sedate winding ride through the park, taking in the sights of waterfalls, and the outstanding greenery.
Siam Beach
Within the park itself there is a man made beach, filled with glorious white sand – there are plenty of parasols and loungers to go around, and there is also a snack bar. The views to La Gomera from here are excellent.
Sea Lion Island
As you enter the park, you’ll find a section dedicated to these beautiful animals – you can watch them as they swim around and play in their own purpose built atmosphere.
Naga Racer
With 6 lanes, this is sure to bring out the competitor in you as you slide, face first, down the hillside.
Mekong Rapids
This ride is suitable for the entire family, due to the large rafts used. It’s highly enjoyable and thrilling!
Jungle Snake
Several different entry points intertwine as you slide through these tubes rushing around the park.
The Lost City
This is truly an exploration of the Park, as you walk across bridges, through waterfalls, and down gently flowing slides – it also includes a Baby Zone, where there are custom built slides for the younger children.
The Floating Market
This market sells everything you would expect, snacks, souvenirs, bathing equipment and more – however, it is modelled on typical Thai villages and is a sight to behold.
